Forty Presidents have lived in the White House since 1800. Abraham Lincoln lived there during the Civil War in the 1860s. Franklin Roosevelt lived there 80 years later, during World War II. Though both Presidents lived in the White House during wartime, their experiences were very different. Read the passages and fill in the blanks with words from the Word Box.
