2000: John and Denise's Greenwood Village-based WarpRadio.com Inc. has signed 137 radio stations nationwide to stream Web broadcasts. The company website (www.warpradio.com) features links to the web pages of 1,000 FCC-Licensed radio stations.

Eighty-seven subscribers are online, and the rest should be soon. When a station calls that already has the requisite ISDN, ISP and static IP address, WarpRadio.com can have a broadcast up in a day. "It really doesn't take a lot to get a radio station on the Internet," Denise said. "The biggest problem is getting the phone lines."

In exchange, WarpRadio.com doesn't ask for cash, because "Radio stations don't want to pay cash," Denise said, so WarpRadio...
