War Games We were always training what to do in case of flooding or a fire below deck or NBC attack which wasn't threat of reruns but an enemy attack with nuclear biological or chemical weapons pretending that a cloud of poison gas was drifting towards us we'd close all the portholes & hatches fumble with old Army Surplus gas masks & tucking our pants legs into our socks we'd push all the buttons to simulate launching or firing at someone sweating our balls off in a steel box faces painted with the light from red battle lanterns & green radar scopes the engines were always shut down in the end and...
