War crimes in Gaza.

Once again, Bush and his team of politicians showed their cowardice and amorality ("Restraining Israel," Comment, February issue). They could have stopped the war against Gaza. Palestinian women and children were being killed in the massive bombing at a rate of 100 Palestinians to each Israeli who had died.

This does not excuse the rockets of Hamas. But the death of one, even in an act of criminality, does not allow for a killing spree of a hundred innocents.

Killing civilians is a form of terrorism, wherever it occurs--in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, or Gaza. War crimes, whether by the United States, Hamas, or Israel, should not be tolerated. All war crimes should be investigated and prosecuted.
