The most irritating thing that I ran into in the 2000 elections was the Democrats who treated me like they "owned" my vote. Trouble is, I feel that the same approach is being perpetrated within the leadership of GPUS and amongst the more vocal members of local Green Party affiliates; the idea that we "must" vote for Green Party candidates if we are Green Party members. It hasn't become doctrine yet but I'm listening for that last heavy boot to fall.
