Wyoming Law Leading on Diversity and Inclusiveness

The 2015-2016 U.S. Supreme Court term was an important year in American jurisprudence. The Court issued rulings in cases affecting abortion rights, affirmative action, the Establishment Clause, contraception, organized labor, voting rights, and immigration. One of the most controversial cases decided was Fisher v. The University of Texas, a case concerning the affirmative action admissions policy of the University of Texas at Austin. The case was brought by a white undergraduate student, Abigail Fisher, who claimed she was denied admissions to the University of Texas on the basis of reverse discrimination.
