I believe in spirits. Well, at least female ones, that is. I have solid proof they live and thrive.
My youngest daughter, Bliss, who is 8, appeared the other morning on St. Patrick’s Day dressed in green from head to toe— prints, plaids, stripes—you name it. And as an accessory to her fancy green dress, Bliss had donned striking green camo galoshes. I had an immediate flashback: my mind’s eye picturing her grandma Diane (my mother) at the Patron’s Ball wearing a ball gown paired with Doc Martin hiking boots she spray-painted shiny gold. Seriously.
So, this was just Bliss channeling her nutty grandmother, right? Well, here’s the spooky part. Sadly, mom died...
