It is bittersweet I write this article. It signals the beginning of the end as my term as your President is coming to a close. The last year has been one of the most professionally satisfying experiences of my life. It has been exciting to interact with numerous members of the Bar and judiciary during the last year.

I had the privilege of appointing more than 60 members of the Bar and lay persons to the numerous boards and committees that make our organization operate. I looked to existing board members for their guidance and then called on several of my law school classmates to join in the stewardship of the Bar. I want to thank all those that answered my calls and took a seat on a board or committee. These individuals are dedicating substantial time and effort to make the Wyoming Bar a smoothly operating organization. Along with the involvement of the members, the Wyoming State Bar has a hard working, dedicated staff that makes the boards and committees, and particularly the Officers' and Commissioners', jobs a lot easier. These people, Sleeter Dover, Sharon Wilkinson, Cathy Duncil, Marie Ellis, Nancy Shore, Brandi Robinson and Mark Gifford make life easier for every Wyoming attorney. Thank you all! The dedicated service to the Bar on the various levels is what makes Wyoming's Bar one of the strongest in the nation.
