Richard leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Kate (Oakland) and two children, Shaun (Humboldt County, California); daughter Nicole and her husband Kenneth Fowler (Houston, Texas); grandchildren, Morgan, AJ, Hailie, Viola and Elliot. He is also survived by siblings, Janet Black (Cheyenne, Wyoming), Michael Ferry (FuUerton, California) and nieces and nephews.

Born in Lander, Wyoming, Richard was the eldest son of William (Bill) and Helen Irvine Ferry. He was preceded in death by his parents.

On June 9, 1962, Richard and Kathleen O'Bryan were married at the First Christian Church in Casper, Wyoming.

Upon graduation from Fremont County Vocational High School in 1958, Richard attended and graduated from Casper College in 1961. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Law at the University of Wyoming in 1964, as well as a Juris Doctor from the University in 1966. After graduation he worked for the University, then went into private law practice before working in the corporate world negotiating contracts. In 1983, his work with Chevron Oil Company took him to Oakland, California. He later worked for Levi Strauss and Co., before retiring in 2006.

Hon. Harry E. Leimback

Harry E. Leimback passed away April 15, 2011, in Casper at the age of 85. He was born to Bessy and Claude Leimback in Joliet, Montana, on October 5, 1925. He moved to Casper shortly after his birth and has resided there since.

Harry attended school in Casper and graduated from NCHS in 1943 before serving in the Navy during WWII. He served on a ship in the Pacific. He returned to Casper where he met his lovely wife Melda Christiansen while attending Casper College. They moved to Laramie in 1948 where he attended the University of Wyoming Law School.
