Among the many duties and responsibilities of being the President of the Wyoming State Bar is the challenging task of planning the Bar's Annual Meeting and Judicial Conference. Each president obviously wants his or her annual meeting to be to the one people will not soon forget. With Cheyenne attorneys Dale Cottam and Mike Rosenthal on my team, I feel confident that you'll be pleased with the CLE courses offered this year. As Wyoming attorneys we are fortunate to have such good relations with the members of our Judiciary. Combining our annual meeting with the judicial conference is evidence of that, and Wyoming is one of few states to have a joint conference. Not only do we team up for our annual conferences, but we also take advantage of the expertise of Wyoming's judges. Thirteen members of Wyoming's Judiciary will be speaking at this year's Annual Meeting. Judge Alan Johnson has invited you into his courtroom for an enlightening session on technology in the Courtroom called "Do-It-Yourself - Effective Courtroom Presentations for the Novice" including the use of a variety of tools including PowerPoint, Corel Presentations, Sanctions II and Keynote. Back by popular demand, the five Supreme Court Justices will be offering "A Day with the Supreme Court." Enjoy an oral argument followed by comments from the Court about effective advocacy in that arena.

On that note, please join me on Wednesday, September 10th, as we honor the members of our Judiciary at the Judicial Luncheon. We are particularly honored to have the President of the National Organization of Chief Justices, Chief Justice Jean Hoefer Toal from South Carolina, as our keynote speaker at the luncheon.
