SALICE SALENTINO ROSSO RISERVA -- 2001

This blend of two varietals from Puglia, Italy (Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera) is very rustic and has these great notes of dried cherry and wood. In the mouth, this wine lets you know it's there, and while it is letting you know you better have some pizza nearby ... because it is screaming for it.

CIRO ROSSO CLASSICO -- 2004

This wine has a garnet color in the glass. Aromas of red fruits, bit of orange peel and a touch of leather. Firm in the mouth and on the finish. OK, how about simple, delicious and hearty. So get something you can roast like lamb, and cook that up and pour a nice big glass of Ciro. You will have a perfect match.

This will wow you for sure. Great aromas, and in the mouth it has tropical notes, pineapple and such with a touch of honey. People say to me, "I don't like or care for white wine." EST! EST!! EST!!! DI MONTEFIASCONE -- 2005

Crispness is what really tells you what this wine is all about. What a great wine to have as an apertif before dinner. Made from the Italian varietals known as Trebiano, Malvasia and Roscetto, it reminds me of sitting by the ocean when I sip this wine, it's so clean and fresh.
