Virtual reality (VR) literally is going to change the face of business, communication, and health care in the next 10 to 20 years, John C. Briggs, CEO of the VR company Activation, told the World Future Society. "Virtual reality is best defined as a computer-generated 3-D experience in which a user can navigate around, interact with, and be immersed in another environment or world in real time, or `at the speed of life,'" he explained.
