Rule 4. Hearing Procedure
(a) Parking Offenses. For parking violations a plea shall be scheduled in accordance with 20 V.I.C. § 497(f).
(b) Non-Parking Offenses; Hearing Date. For all traffic offenses other than parking violations, the hearing date shall be at a day and time set by the court, which shall be no earlier than 14 days after the date on which the ticket is issued to the defendant. For good cause shown, the court may continue the hearing to a different date, provided that notice of the new hearing date is provided to the parties.
