Rule 13. Safe Deposit Box; Inspection and Inventory
(a) Prior to the appointment of an administrator or executor, any interested person may make application to the court, through the filing of a petition, for authority to open a safe deposit box located within the territory. Whenever it appears to the satisfaction of the court that a bank or other institution has leased to the deceased, either as an individual or joint lessee, a safe deposit box within the territory, the court may issue an order directing the bank or other institution to permit the person named in the order, within 21 days of the court's order, to open the safe deposit box and to examine...
