This nal message is one of thanks and praise.

My thanks for the eorts of ABA President Bill Bay,

ABA Executive Director and Chief Operating Ocer

Alpha Brady, and ABA Chief of Sta Amy Eggert. In this

last year, the engagement with our Tort Trial and Insurance

Practice Section (TIPS) and leadership to protect the legal

profession did not go unnoticed by our Section members.

And to TIPS Section Director Theresa Livingston, Associ-

ate Director Janet Hummons, and the dream team TIPS sta.

Bravo on a year well done and well earned. Our Section pro-

vided experiences and opportunities that will be remembered

for years to come.

It has been the privilege of my legal career to chair the

Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the ABA for this

last year. Each of my prior four messages focused on our pro-

gramming and how participation would be a boon to your

business prospects and professional development. I hope you

found them informative and engaging. As I pass the baton

to new Section leadership, with their ideas overowing and

energy to match the ambition, take advantage of their new

oerings and considerations. You’ll be glad you did, and I’ll

see you at the registration table. Z
