VIEVU, provider of body-worn video (BWV) cameras and a subsidiary of Safariland since June 2015, has announced a contract to supply 1,500 Model LE4 BWV cameras to the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), following a competitive bidding process.

The contract also includes a five-year subscription to VIEVU Solution, the next-generation Cloud evidence management system, built on Microsoft Azure Government Cloud. VIEVU, whose BWV cameras have its exclusive Automated Video Redaction technology, has delivered the first shipment of cameras to the MDPD.
