Luis J. Rodríguez would have us believe that it is faulty logic to charge seventeen-year-olds as adults ("Juvenile Injustice," July issue). But it is not faulty logic to assume that when a young person murders, be is acting base and feral. It is not faulty logic to assume that such a wanton act is the nature of the beast and the beast will retain that nature throughout his or her lifetime.
