The article "Scorin' with Orrin," (September 2001) by Stephanie Mencimer is distorted and inaccurate. Painting the FDA as the supreme authority in charge of our safety is absurd. Viagra alone is linked to well over 100 deaths. DSHEA needs to be fully enacted before it can be faulted. Without full implementation of DSHEA, we will never know if the law really works.
