As someone who spent much of my youth on military bases, I understand the value of programs such as our Foundation's VetFran initiative, which has grown to more than 600 member companies. My father and grandfather served in the military, and taught me the importance of helping those who serve.

Featured on the cover this month is Sport Clips Founder and CEO Gordon Logan, one of the most devoted advocates for veterans in franchising. He offers advice about how to attract and retain veterans on page 16. Gordon is a member and former Chair of IFA's VetFran Committee, and his commitment goes way beyond time, as Sport Clips donated $500,000 to the program in 2017.
