The article by Reese Erlich, "What's Really Going Down in Venezuela" (October/ November issue) is excellent, on the whole, and very well written. My only concern is that it seriously underplays the violence committed by the opposition [to Venezuela's government]. It makes it look as though there was an equal amount of violence committed by both sides, and that all of the "opposition" violence was against police, national guard, and government offices.
