VECO Corp. Named in Top 50 Design Firms.

Engineering News-Record ranked Alaska-based VECO Corp. as Number 50 in the country for engineering and design, with more than $168 million in 1999 engineering revenues. The annual ENR score card is regarded as the "Fortune 500" of the engineering and design industry.

Additionally, VECO was named Number 19 in industrial process and petroleum engineering and Number 14 in power engineering.

From its roots in the oilfield business, VECO has acquired leading engineering design firms in Bellingham, Calgary, Denver and Baton Rouge, helping to bring millions of dollars in engineering work to Alaska-work previously performed in the Lower 48.
