Veco International Inc. purchased Eastwind Inc., a 20-year Anchorage-based civil construction firm, for an undisclosed amount. Following a series of 12 joint ventures between the two companies starting in 1990, Eastwind became a Veco subsidiary in January. Jerry Harman, founder, remains president.
