Utah valley convention center holds grand opening.

Provo--Downtown Provo has a new tenant to complement the economic growth of the city: the UTAH VALLEY CONVENTION CENTER, located at 220 W. Center Street in Provo. The new convention center is the first of its kind in the area, and the UTAH VALLEY CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU projects its total economic impact will be approximately $18 million, generated by events and activities.

The building is LEED Silver certified for its green design, construction, operation and maintenance. It is 143,000 square feet in total, with 83,578 square feet of combined meeting, pre-function and garden space, as well as a full-service kitchen. The facility provides complete in-house services including food and beverage, audio visual, internet, electrical, and tradeshow decorating services.
