Utah Business: What is the mission of Stage Marketing?

Emily Woll: When the company was founded in 2009, it was with humble beginnings and very few employees, but one overarching goal: To use the power of creative communication to help our customers succeed in their respective businesses. That overall goal has never wavered. What has changed, however, is the depth of resources, including the talents of a continually growing team, allowing us to serve our clients in ever-creative ways over multiple platforms. The name "Stage Marketing" reflects the company's core mission to guide clients' marketing strategy and services through different stages of growth, from startup to small business to enterprise. We provide strategic, creative, lead gen, live-event planning, and managed services across traditional and digital channels to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.

Utah Business: What is the market differentiator for Stage Marketing? What helps set you apart from other competitors?

Woll: We believe that no other agency can provide high-quality services with the flexibility, affordability, and transparency that Stage Marketing offers. Our affordability is based on the fact that we view employees--not other agencies--as our competition. We often provide a five-person team for the price of one in-house employee. This gives us amazing flexibility, and the ability to pivot from service to service with our blended rate. For example, if a client needs a PR campaign one month, a website redesign the next, and a live event managed the month after that, our blended rate allows them to be able to pivot quickly and easily without additional costs.
