The article in the June issue by Amitabh Pal, "Don't Bomb Iran" (Comment), makes many good arguments.

However, I would add one other: Iran already has the nuclear material and the technical knowledge to create a nuclear weapon.

Forget red lines. Use diplomacy.

"Don't Bomb Iran" makes sense. Presumably, bombing would be a way to enforce President Obama's edict of a nuclear-free Near East. The question is: Why force Iran alone to be nuclear free when Israel isn't?
