Photos of poets, audience members and playwrights celebrating UC Merced's 50 Years On Black Arts Movement Theatre Night were taken by acclaimed poet Eugene Redmond. Excerpts from plays by Ishmael Reed, Amiri Baraka, Marvin X, Judy Juanita and Avotcja were read as world renowned poets and musicians gathered to perform their work.
