University honors Veterans Day with documentary directed by HPU parents.

Veterans Day was honored in a unique way at HPU with a screening of the Telly Award-winning documentary, "The High Price for Victory." The film, directed and co-produced by Louis and Amy Asbury--parents of HPU student Ross Weathersbee--is a personal and searing testament to the men and women who fought in World War II.

The film, which also won the Audience Choice Award at Real to Reel International Film Festival in 2012, includes interviews of veterans and actual images and film from the war, creating a very real experience for the viewer. The feelings, insights and memories shared by veterans achieve a personal edge rarely seen on this subject.
