Universal Business Computing Co. (UBCC), a provider of productivity software for accounting and payroll professionals, has added more features to its Real-Time Accounting & Payroll applications. The software now includes enhancements to its Accounts Payable, Automatic Billing Generator, Worker's Compensation and Payroll Service Bureau programs. In addition, new data importing and PDF file features have been added.

New features from the Taos, N.M.-based company include:

* Accounts Payable -- UBCC has completely re-written its Accounts Payable program to include enhancements, such as the ability to send ACH payments, positive pay to a bank, hold payment on individual invoices, print prior year's 1099s and more.

* Automatic Billing Generator -- In addition to allowing users to automatically invoice their clients for services rendered (such as checks printed, W2s and 1099s produced), users can also invoice for additional and third-party services, while providing full detail or just summary totals for all involved.

* Data Importing/Exporting -- New importing features make payroll setups easier--bringing in set-up data from Microsoft Excel[R] or comma-separated values (CSV) files, sending data to clients or vendors, sending general ledger data in CSV or QuickBooks[R] format, sending positive pay to a bank, importing bank deposits...
