MARIA LUJAN CRESPO is an industry lawyer from Argentina and a Master in Business Administration by the Escuela de Organización Industrial - Spain, with 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has worked in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and United States. Fellow of the Argentine Bar of Lawyers, A.I.P.N., Club del Petróleo (Buenos Aires), and several other legal organizations. She spent more than 20 years with YPF, where she worked on legal matters such as exploration and exploitation contracts, Master Service Agreements, Natural Gas and Crude Oil sales, merges and acquisitions, etc., and later as Corporate Business Development manager, during the deregulation of the Argentine oil industry, among other relevant matters, in YPF Initial Public Offer on 1992, negotiating Exploration Concessions, International Public Bids, as project leader of Trasandean Oilpipeline, Transandean Gaspipelines to Chile, acquisition of assets by YPF in Latin America, Bolivian Capitalization, MEGA and PROFERTIL projects and asset swaps between PETROBRAS / YPF, she was also YPF downstream manager in Brazil). On 1999 she joined Clarin Group as General Manager of its Printing Plant, acquiring a huge experience in management, logistics, and production. More recently, Marita joined Apache Corporation as Buenos Aires Legal Manager and from 2010 was assigned as Apache's Legal Regional Manager, based in Buenos Aires. Since 1996 Marita is teaching at postgraduate courses in Oil and Gas in the School of Law and the School of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). She has also been an invited professor at the Southern Methodist University, Argentine Catholic University, Belgrano University and has also taught courses sponsored by AIPN and other private entities in Peru, Bolivia and Venezuela, and several seminars in Argentina, all related with Oil and Gas industry and management.

JULIO SHIRATORI holds a MS in Petroleum Engineering and a MBA. He has 21 years of experience in reservoir management, field exploitation and exploration of neighboring areas. Fellow of the Club del Petróleo (Buenos Aires), and Vice President of SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineer) in Argentina Section. His career shows experience in different operation fields in: Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia & Venezuela for: Baker Hughes (Kobe & Centrilift), Repsol and Weatherford Int. in management operations and economic evaluations including wells and surface facilities, estimation of reserves with the use of enhanced oil recovery techniques and risk analysis. The positions in Weatherford Int. included: Brazil Country Manager and for Latin America Region: New Technologies Manager and Regional Technical Training Manager. At the present is Coordinator in the Government Affair Department of Apache Energia Argentina S.R.L. and responsible for relationships with several institutions as AmCham Argentina, the Argentina Energy Secretary, Government and others Institutions. He is professor at The Engineering University (ITBA Buenos Aires) in the Petroleum Department and the Post Graduate in drilling, reservoirs and production since 11 ago. Also is SPE Faculty Sponsor of the SPE Student Chapter of this University. Since 2010 Julio is teaching at postgraduate courses in Oil and Gas in the School of Law and the School of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and several seminars in Argentina, all related with Oil and Gas industry and management. Has published a number of petroleum engineering topics and papers. In the SPE he actively participates, and has been called to testify as expert witness.

• Argentina pareciera ser uno de los primeros países latinoamericanos en el tratamiento legislativo y operatividad de los denominados "objetivos no convencionales", los que a partir del año 2008 han sido normativamente definidos, en lo que atañe especificamente a Gas Natural, como "aquel gas natural proveniente de reservorios caracterizados por la presencia de areniscas o arcillas muy compactadas de baja permeabilidad y porosidad, que impiden que el fluido migre naturalmente, y por lo cual la producción comercial resulta posible únicamente mediante la utilización de tecnologías de avanzada".
