U.S., India Defense Associations Announce Cooperation Agreement.

ARLINGTON, Virginia--The National Defense Industrial Association and the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers announced the signing of a cooperation agreement, effective June 21.

Inked at the INDUS X Summit in Washington, D.C., the memorandum of understanding between NDIA and SI DM will share information of mutual interest and will coordinate, wherever practical, on mutually relevant issues and programs.

Shri Anurag Bajpai, joint secretary in the Government of India's Ministry of Defence, said: "The Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers and the National Defense Industrial Association joining hands at the inaugural INDUS X Summit in Washington D.C., as the two world leaders come together, is an important step in catalyzing the U.S.-India defense ecosystem. We look forward to defense industry and startups from both countries engaging closely to accelerate innovation and technology."

NDIA and SIDM recognize each other as the associations that represent the full range of the defense and security industry in their respective countries.
