Advocacy Center v. Stalder, 128 F.Supp.2d 358 (M.D.La. 1999). An advocacy group for the rights of mentally ill persons, formed pursuant to the Protection and Advocacy for the Mentally Ill Individuals Act (PAMII Act), sued a state prison seeking release of an inmates mental health records which were needed in connection with an investigation of the inmate's claims of istreatment. The district court issued a temporary injunction that provided the records.
