Turning leafs for El Salvador.

Your article about the library in El Salvador's Santiago Texacuangos (October 2001) touched me for some reason. It's not that I know El Salvador, but perhaps that I love books and the Spanish language. Like Borges, I feel that Heaven must consist of an infinite library!

In any case, I want to thank you for such a deeply felt story. It makes me wonder what help can be given to Senora Fernandez in her struggle to keep the library stocked and available to the residents. I suppose money is the answer ... and while I can't give a lot, I'd be glad to send what little I can from time to time.

Can you tell me if this would be appropiate, and if so, how best to make certain the money reaches that library...
