I want to comment on the last part of Nat Hentoff's piece ("His Worldwide Legacy," January issue). I came to the United States eight years ago from Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. I find it so ironic that the country I ran to from that dictatorship is the same country that is now encouraging dictator Islam Karimov to torture people. With every book I read, with every news...
