Endangered Species Legal Services
The Departm ent is accepting proposal s (RFP #15-516-
2101-00 001) from qualif‌ied lawyers and law f‌irms to
provide professional leg al services, spec if‌ically in the
role as endangered spe cies counsel, in matt ers per-
taining to endange red species law. The Depart ment
seeks a lawyer or law f‌ir m with substanti al background
with Endangered S pecies Act (E SA) issues; Comm ent-
ing on Federal Rules pe rtaining to th e ESA; and other
issues related to c andidate, threate ned, or endangered
species. The selec ted Offeror/ s would be expected to
provide specialized non -litigation and lit igation exper-
tise and have the requisite ab ility to perfor m assign-
ments and act as Dep artment counse l in connection
with complex contr actual and tran sactional mat ters;
the ESA; and re lated laws and regulation s pertaining
to candidate, t hreatened or endangere d species. To
