Durham is the highest-ranked North Carolina city when it comes to women in technology based on its smaller pay-wage gap and massive job growth, according to a new report from financial-services site SmartAsset. Durham is ranked No. 8 in the country based on data such as gap in gender pay, growth of tech jobs, income calculated after expenses for housing, and the percentage of tech jobs filled by women.
