The U.S. and Brazil long have dominated the world of cosmetic procedures, according to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, New York, having performed 17.9% and 10.7% respectively, of the world's 17,007,858 cosmetic procedures last year--but which are the top countries that account for the remaining 71.4%?

"This year we had a record number of responses to our international study," says Renato Saltz, president of ISAPS. "We got responses from plastic surgeons in over 100 different countries, which enabled us to present the most-detailed snapshot on cosmetic surgery trends around the world to date."
