I'm not a fan of trinket products--they usually don't work as advertised and are cheaply made. So, when I saw Tool Logic's "flashlight on a knife," I classified it as a trinket product. Mistake.

Tool Logic's SL Survival Series of compact tools actually work, are built solid and should be sure-sellers for dealers. The flagship of the SL Series is the SL1 Light. It has a 3-inch semi-serrated blade and nylon reinforced glass-fiber body that's topped by an LED flashlight. As a bonus, the back of the handle is an emergency whistle--a loud one. A compact version is the SL1 Mini Light with a 2-inch blade.
