The 2010 CalCPA Distinguished Service Award winners are assembly members Fiona Ma (D-San Francisco) and Roger Niello (District 5) for their role in advancing legislation critical to CPAs operating successfully in California. This legislation included SB 819 (150-hour requirement), AB 138 (mandatory peer review), AB 117 (mandatory license status disclosure) and AB 129 (taxpayer privilege reinstatement).
