Three D Graphics has renamed its recently launched financial analytical tool, FINESSE.

The new name, ACUMEN, describes the keen insight into a company's financial statements provided by the easy to use yet highly comprehensive "what if?" tool.

The Los Angeles-based company has also formed a subsidiary, ACUMEN Financial Solutions Inc., to focus on the development and marketing of financial visualization tools such as ACUMEN and allow for branding in the marketplace.
