A state prisoner brought a pro se civil rights action against a state correctional facility and the district court granted the defendants' motion to dismiss. The inmate appealed and the appeals court affirmed in part, and vacated and remanded in part. The appeals court held that the prisoner's request for return of medications that were seized by prison officials was still active after he was transferred to another facility.
