As we plan our get-togethers this year, we're going to try something a little more interactive. We're bringing back the fondue! Having just obtained the Korona ($99.95), from Beka, Hauppauge, N.Y., we love the modern look of the stainless steel, belly-shaped pot. The ample seven-inch size makes it ideal for dipping beef, shrimp, etc. It comes with six matte black, soft touch-grip fondue forks, and includes a splatter lid to protect against hot oil spatters. The pot can be preheated to a medium temperature on the stove before placing it on the rechaud. The Korona contains a burner with lid for burning oil or paste.

Another item that's new to our collection is the Bain Marie ($49.95)--a double-walled pot that works according to the waterbath principle. You heat up the water in between the walls, which gently heats the food or sauce in the simmer pan. It's perfect for preparing milky desserts and creamy sauces, melting chocolate, heating baby food, reheating mashed potatoes or rice, defrosting frozen foods, etc.

The Cook 'N Stir ($69.95) is a multifunctional measuring cup with a lid that can be used to measure, prepare, heat, serve, and store--all in one container.
