There are already a lot of books on corporate governance. Why did you choose to do a book on boards of directors?

We have many great books on how corporate directors can best monitor company executives, and we recommend a number of them in Boards That Lead. Far less is known, however, about how directors actually work with executives to ensure that their company is going in the right directions, selecting the right executives, and making the right decisions.
