I really liked and appreciated the articles on Colin Kaepernick in your November issue. But their mentions of the protests by John Carlos and Tommie Smith at Mexico's '68 Olympics overlooked a third man in the photographs, Peter Norman. Maybe it was because he was Australian, not a U.S. citizen. He, a white man, supported Carlos and Smith by wearing an "Olympic Project for Human Rights" badge. As a result, he was not allowed to represent Australia in the 1972 Munich Olympics.
