Quick--which country has the lowest divorce rate? Which is the most generous when it comes to spending on foreign aid? And which one boasts the highest number of computers per 100 citizens?

Those answers are contained in World of Figures, a new iPad app that contains a broad collection of economic, socio-demographic, cultural and environmental statistics that is provided by The Economist, in partnership with accounting firm Grant Thornton. The information can be useful for financial executives seeking fast facts for business meetings or presentations--or simply honing skills for a future appearance on the TV show "Jeopardy."

World in Figures includes country scores and rankings on more than 200 topics pertaining to issues of foreign debt, life expectancy, natural resources, business competitiveness, innovation and even Facebook usage. Alongside detailed statistical profiles of the world's major economies, it also allows users to compare how different countries rank by topic and includes trivia from all over the world.
