Ruth Conniff is fortunate to be able to move to Mexico with her husband and children. But I resent her idea that progressive enclaves like Madison have failed ("Over the Wall," October/November issue).
We are under the most horrific attack on American democracy in our history. The Russians are waging a cyber-war against America that is unprecedented. Putin is a real life evil genius. Trump is a bully who creates chaos daily. Liberals have not failed but they are in the fight of their lives.
