The Refugee Crisis.

PositionGRAPHS - Brief article

A refugee is someone who has fled his or her country to escape war, violence, persecution, or natural disaster and can't safely return home. Over the past 10 years--because of droughts, wars, genocide, and other factors--the worldwide refugee population has increased by more than 10 million and is now 25.4 million. As the top graph shows, more than half of these people, about 13.5 million, are from just five countries, with civil-war plagued Syria at the top. Syria's neighbor Turkey has taken in many of the displaced Syrians and is one of the top refugee-hosting countries, as the bottom graph shows.

The top graph shows the top five countries that refugees come from. The bottom graph shows the top five countries that have taken in the most refugees.
