These leaders have extensive industry experience in energy, telecom, IT, retail, financial Services, restaurants, private equity, entertainment, engineering and construction, consumer packaged goods, facilities and Service management, education and banking.
They have an impressive depth and breadth of functional expertise including finance, operations, information technology, marketing, legal, risk management, economics, and human resources.
Sixteen of the 22 candidates are senior executives with major corporations, three are business owners, one is a Chief Investment Officer, one is a powerful Hollywood agent, and one is a university president.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of SoCalGas (a unit of Sempra Energy), Dennis Arriola leads the nation's largest natural gas distribution company. He has almost 20 years in a variety of leadership roles at Sempra Energy companies including serving as the Chief Operating Officer before his promotion to CEO. Arriola serves on a variety of boards including the American Gas Association, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, and California Business Roundtable. He earned his MBA from Harvard University.

Thaddeus Arroyo is the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of AT&T Mexico, LLC. In his previous role at AT&T, Arroyo served as President of Technology Development. Under his leadership, AT&T was consistently recognized for leadership In technology innovation and execution. Arroyo has won numerous awards for his leadership in innovation and technology Including being named one of "Mexico's 300 Most Influential Leaders" for 2015 by Lideres Mexicanos magazine. He is an active board member of the Hispanic IT Executive Council and National Center for Women & Information Technology.

An expert in information technology, Ramon Baez serves as Hewlett-Packard's Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Senior Vice President of Customer Advocacy. His responsibilities include driving HP's global information technology strategy and supporting all of the company's IT assets. He is also the chairman of HP's Global Diversity & Inclusion Board. An expert in demand-chain optimization and product innovation, Delgado-Jenkins Is credited with reversing ten years of customer declines at 7-Eleven with his "value/ premium/innovation" strategy. He serves on the Boards of CORE Nutrition, Axon Global, and the Dallas Zoo.

John Esquivel recently retired as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel at Shell Oil Company. In his 32 years as a corporate attorney at Shell, Esquivel served in a management capacity for over twenty-two years and supported major business segments such as oil products and exploration and production. His board Service includes being the Chairman of the Greater Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation and serving on the Board of the National Council of La Raza.
