One great historical measure is to be recognized to the credit of this first session of the 66th Congress. On Wednesday, May 21, the House of Representatives passed by a vote of 304 yeas to 89 nays the following joint resolution:

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
