The impact of intergenerational transfers on wealth
inequality in Japan and the United States
In the published version of Niimi and Horioka (2018), there was an error in the caption for Table 4 on
pp. 2055–56. The caption for Table 4 was given as ‘TABLE 4 Regression results for bivariate probit
model (average marginal effects)’, but it should have been ‘TABLE 4 Regression results for bivariate
probit model (coefficients)’. We are very grateful to Gabriel Schoeller of the University of Goettingen
for pointing out our error.
