CLEONE BOTELHO is a consultant with CBX International. Currently living in Colorado, she is a native of the Brazilian Amazon and has successfully managed innovative and complex regulatory and due diligence projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. For over 18 years, she has lead diverse multinational projects for some of the most challenging energy and industrial development projects in the region, including the first LNG receiving terminal in Mexico, multiple natural gas and coal fired power plants in Brazil as well as other facilities throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. For the past 11 years, Cleone has provided environmental and social services to international financial institutions, conducting due diligence projects, reviews and assessment of multi-industrial sector projects in accordance with international standards of the World Bank Group (including International Finance Corporation's Performance Standards), the Equator Principles and best international practices. Cleone is passionate about supporting the development of new projects while optimizing environmental and social benefits.
